Double Chocolate Herman Cake Recipe

Butter, room temp
Sugar, white
Sugar, brown
Eggs
Cocoa, unsweetened
Flour
Salt
Herman Starter
Vanilla
Semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Nut, chopped
Oven Temp ~ 350°
Recipe Baking Time ~ 30 Min.
Pan Type ~ 9 inch square pan

Preheat oven, grease pan.

In bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
Stir dry ingredients together.
Combine starter and vanilla; add alternately with dry ingredients to sugar mixture.
Spread into pan.
Sprinkle chocolate and nuts on top.
Bake your double chocolate Herman cake recipe for suggested time or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
