Oven Temp ~ 350°
Bake Time ~ 30 - 35 minutes

Preheat Oven, .Spray pans with nonstick pan spray.
In a medium saucepan combine the butter, chocolate and coffee. Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
In a large mixing bowl combine the sugar, buttermilk, vanilla and eggs. Beat on low speed of mixer. Add the flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well. Stir in melted chocolate until well blended. Divide evenly between the two pans and spread batter.
Bake for the allotted time or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Cool on wire racks completely before frosting.
Frost with your favorite frosting or try our coffee butter cream frosting. Serves: 10 - 12 |
