Chocolate Pound Cake Recipe

1 cup
2 -1/2 cups
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
1/2 cup
2 cups
4 large
2 tsp
2/3 cup

buttermilk
flour
salt
baking soda
butter, softened
sugar
eggs
vanilla
Hershey's chocolate syrup
Hershey's bars (milk chocolate) melted, cooled

Oven Temp ~ 350°
Recipe Bake Time ~ 55 minutes
Pan Type ~ 2 - 9 x 5" loaf pans


Preheat Oven, grease pan.

Measure buttermilk and set aside.
In medium bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda with wire whisk. Set aside.
Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla with an electric hand mixer.
Add syrup and melted chocolate and mix completely.
Blend in buttermilk.
Gradually add flour mixture until well combined.

Pour into prepared pans.
Place in oven to bake for allotted time.

Remove Chocolate Pound Cake from oven and let cool on wire racks.
