Batty Chocolate Cake

Sugar
Butter
Eggs
Vinegar
Milk
All purpose flour
Salt
Baking soda
Baking cocoa
Vanilla
Boiling water
Espresso powder

Oven Temp ~ 350°
Recipe Bake Time ~ 30 - 35 minutes
Pan Type ~ 9 x 13" baking pan


Preheat Oven. Spray pan with nonstick pan spray.

In a large mixing bowl combine the sugar and butter, beat until fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
Put vinegar in small bowl add the milk and let set for 1 minute.
Stir the milk mixture into sugar mixture.
Add the flour, salt, baking soda and cocoa. Mix well.
Add the espresso powder to the boiling water.
Stir until powder is dissolved and pour into chocolate mixture.
Add the vanilla and mix on medium speed with electric mixer until smooth.
Pour batty chocolate cake batter into pan and bake for the allotted time or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Cool on wire rack completely before frosting.

Batty chocolate cake recipe serves: 12 - 15.
