Semi-sweet chocolate

Oven Temp ~ 350°
Recipe Bake Time ~ 55 - 60 minutes
Pan Type ~ 9 x 13" baking pan

Preheat Oven. Spray pan with nonstick pan spray.
In a small bowl beat the cream cheese, 1 egg and first amount of sugar until fluffy.
Add the cream, softened butter and cornstarch, beat with mixer until well blended.
In a small saucepan cook the chocolate while stirring constantly over medium heat until melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
In a large mixing bowl combine the second amount of butter and sugar beat with mixer until fluffy.
Add the eggs, milk and second amount of vanilla and the melted chocolate.
Add the flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix with mixer until all dry ingredients are moistened.
Spread 1/2 of the chocolate mixture in the bottom of the prepared pan.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture over top of chocolate mixture.
Use a knife to swirl cream cheese into the chocolate mixture.
Top with remainder of batter.
Bake in hot oven for the allotted time or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Cool completely before frosting the chocolate fudge cake.
